Putting out your rubbish too early could lead to a £75.

That’s the warning from the Isle of Wight Council, as it continues to crackdown on keeping the Island’s streets tidy. The council says its Environment and Neighbourhoods Officers have powers to issue on-the-spot fines to homeowners who leave their waste out days ahead of it being collected. We need informed independents, not idiots reading from a pre-determined script so they can sing in unison. Expose them and the damage they’ve done to our school system and our eco island image (the one thing that could resurrect the Island economy long term).
